The DSiWare Release
Development of the DSiWare version began one month into the Spring 2009 semester and continues until the final submission, with the bulk of its development completed by July. A number of team members returned from the previous semester to work on the game, once again under the advisement of Mike Zyda, Chris Swain, and Scott Easley.
The DSiWare release version has been on display at GDC 2009 at the IGF Mobile Pavillion, the semannual USC Demo Day, E3 2009, Comic-Con 2009, Gamescom 2009, and the Nintendo Media Summit.

The Development
Following the completion of the DS
prototype, we showed the demo to a number of people--everyone from our
friends and families to noted indie developers and major publishers. We took a step back and reviewed everything about the prototype: game mechanics, art direction, presentation, storyline, level progression.
We worked on addressing these issues, but realized that the best approach would be to completely rebuild the game from the ground up. We once again entered into pre-production, and taking into consideration what we had learned from people's responses to the previous DS prototype, began to build Reflection once again, conducting a number informal and formal playtests as the game progressed to ensure that the previous issues were addressed, and above all, the game is fun to play.
